On April 17, several Germania representatives visited with more than 1,100 sophomore, junior and senior high students about opportunities at the home office. Even though Germania staff members anticipated a lot of questions about benefits and salaries, students seemed much more interested in the cost of auto insurance rather than any employment opportunities. Nonetheless, it was a good opportunity for Germania to gain some recognition locally and encourage students to apply for positions at the home office after graduation. However, many of the students were planning to further their education after high school and attend college.
