Pecan Pie

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¾ cup syrup
  • ¼ cup milk
  • pinch salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten well
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, cut in pieces
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Procedure:

Combine butter, syrup, milk, sugar, beaten eggs, flour and vanilla. Beat together until well blended. Pour mixture into prepared pie crust. Sprinkle pecans on top of mixture in pie crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
