Pecan Pralines

  • 1 ¼ cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ stick margarine
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups pecans

Procedure:

Mix sugar and milk in saucepan. Cook until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Stir in margarine and vanilla. Beat until creamy (mixture will be lukewarm). Pour over mounds of pecans on wax paper, or add pecans and drop on wax paper by tablespoon.
